Here you will find the answers to questions that have been asked of our customer service team and practical tips on how to feed your dog with PLATINUM complete food.
 

Why does PLATINUM process fresh meat?
Compared to conventional dry food, in which only meat meals are processed, at PLATINUM we produce our food from at least 70 % fresh meat. In comparison to meat meals, which have to be produced using very high temperatures, fresh meat can be processed very gently and without adding water, which has to be added in conventional processes. This means that the proteins can be used optimally and the residual moisture, consisting of pure meat juices, in the final product gives an incomparable taste, without the addition of attractants.

How do I switch over from other products to PLATINUM food?
An instant switch without transition period is advisable. As Platinum dry dog food and other dry dog foods have a different digestibility a mixture it is not recommendable.

Why is the food the same, no matter what the breed of dog?
Every dog is originally descended from wolves, the digestive tract is designed for meat. Our nuggets of food are designed in such a way that they can be absorbed easily by any breed from the Chihuahua to the Great Dane and they satisfy the needs of all breeds equally.

How long is the shelf live of PLATINUM?
The dry dog food is durable for 18 month after production, the wet dog food MENU is durable for 36 month and MENU Mini for 24 months after production.

Can I change easily between the different Adult varieties?
Yes, you can change at any time and you can even use different varieties of food on the same day.

Why does PLATINUM not have a variety for older dogs?
In the wild, an old wolf eats in the same way as a young one. If you give an older dog food less protein, it loses muscle mass and does not enjoy life as much.

Why does Puppy Chicken not contain any green-lipped mussel extract?
To avoid causing problems in the puppy learning to produce the important substances contained in the extract on its own, they should not be supplied in the food in the first 3 months.

Does PLATINUM perform animal experiments??
You can rely on the fact that no animal experiments are done for the product development and production of our food and care products - neither by us, nor by any other third party.
